Innovasea have developed a wireless aquaculture monitoring system called Aquaculture Intelligence, which allows producers to monitor environmental conditions online in real time. AquaMeasure is a family of compact, submersible environmental sensors with underwater and in-air wireless communications, sending data in real time.

The range of aquaMeasure sensors make it easy to monitor a range of important variables. Their wireless aquaMeasure sensors serve as the central nervous system for its aquaculture intelligence solutions.

By combining underwater communications with cloud-sync technology, aquaMeasure delivers a user experience that is intuitive and unique, enabling numerous data to be gathered from underwater environments and sent seamlessly to the cloud.

Placed strategically around your pens and paired with the system's aquaHub, the submersible sensors track water temperature and depth along with a host of other environmental indicators, including dissolved oxygen, salinity, chlorophyll, blue-green algae, turbidity and coloured dissolved organic matter.

Further key features of Innovasea aquaMeasure sensors include the ability to transfer real time data to your phone and computer through its specifically designed industry leading online data management portal, whilst the wireless configuration means that there are no cables to worry about.

About the size of a flashlight, aquaMeasure's wireless sensors for aquaculture are rugged and built to withstand the worst mother nature can dish out. They last a year on a single D battery, come calibrated and ready to deploy and feature an easy Bluetooth set-up so you can go in the water quickly in order to begin monitoring pens and protecting fish.

Track Currents and Weather

aquaMeasure's current profiler, meanwhile, provides mean flow measurements and data about waves and currents – crucial information when trying to protect both fish and infrastructure.

In addition, its add-on weather stations monitor conditions at the farm site, keeping you abreast of key factors that can affect operations at a moment's notice including wind speed and direction, air temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure.
